Time to learn something new!

Early childhood is the age when natural desire to learn is activated! It is this age in which the child is most curious, eager and willing. It is this stage which needs the most aware, non judgemental, nurturing adults around the young minds to kindle the fire! This is exactly the challenge for today’s parents and teachers. The importance of early years is recognized globally. Governments and non government institutions are reinforcing major changes in the ways we educate young children, how we create an environment for their learning and how we develop responsive, nurturing relationships with them.

Whichever social economic strata the child belongs, they need experiential learning, developmentally appropriate practices and emotionally enriched environment. The fact is that a parent or teacher in today’s world cannot afford to remain unaware of the natural development of children in all the domains. India’s New Education Policy is also directing parents and teachers to understand the true essence of the Process of Learning.  It is time not to restrict ourselves but adapt to the new science of raising and teaching young children.
